A New Moon Eclipse of Standing Your Ground

eclipseHenry Seltzer – Thursday’s solar eclipse and New Moon in late Aquarius has some interesting features. Because an eclipse configuration is considered to be an especially powerful lunation, this presages a set of relationships between archetypal energies that may well last us into the second half of 2018, conditioning our collective response to this brave new year of fundamental transition.

The most obvious factors are, again, the outer planet energies of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, with emphasis on the first two of these, associated with a dawning spirituality as well as feelings of universal compassion and the dissolving of strict walls and borders.  Continue reading

Jupiter Retrograde

energyDjwhal Khul here. Tashi Delek! (Tibetan greeting)

Global finances are affected by this retrograde in Libra. In the quarterly forecast I mentioned seeing a strong tide going out and little lapping back in. It retrogrades on February 5 overnight making Monday interesting. It goes direct June 9 at 13:13 degrees of Libra possibly creating a karmic whiplash.

As Light Workers we seek to balance energy and especially so wealth as represented by Jupiter along with clean water, good food and survival needs of humanity and the other kingdoms. We will do a lot of energy work in this teaching. As always there will be exercises you can repeat for your own well-being and spiritual growth and for the good of all. Onward, Healing, Rewards!

As always, thank you and my love to you,

Djwhal Khul

A Dynamic, Surprising, and Insightful Month of February

uranusHenry Seltzer – The astrology of February features Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Eris, and two eclipses. By now, Mercury has fully recovered from its recent retrograde, as of last January 27th, and as it does so, conjuncts Pluto in mid-Capricorn in the chart of the January 27th New Moon that holds the keys to this month’s astrological cycle. Many of the themes from January, involving outer planet combinations, are true for this month of February as well, and with even greater intensity.

Jupiter stations at 23 Libra in the first week of February, late on Sunday evening, and thus maintains his recent and very strong opposition to Uranus and Eris, the new planet beyond Pluto. Uranus and Eris continue to be separated by less than two degrees, increasing the active potency of both archetypes. In particular, with Uranus conjunct Eris, opposed to Jupiter, and also still in square with Pluto, there are loads of brilliant new ideas and insights flooding in, with consequences for individual and collective agendas. Things will not go at all the way that was planned, but what is equally true is that there will be a great deal of learning in the side roads that are unexpectedly taken.

Then too, we have the very powerful Lunar Eclipse in Leo of February 10th, which aspects Eris, by trine and sextile, within 10 minutes of a degree, and therefore also triggers the Jupiter-Uranus opposition, and Uranus square Pluto. The February 26th New Moon at 8 Pisces also makes many powerful outer planet connections, indicating that our massive structural transformation continues into the following month. Of these, the most notable is to numinous Neptune. Everything, it is said, is an illusion here below, which might explain the recent rise of “alternative facts.”

Perspective Shifts and Studied Responses

erisHenry Seltzer – Thursday’s Last Quarter Moon is an interesting lunation, in part because the Sun changes signs, moving from business- and practical-oriented Capricorn into Aquarius, indicating a major and relevant shift of perspective in the midst of these transformational times. Then, there is also the shift in point of view indicated by the very nature of this lunar phase, which seminal 20th century astrologer Dane Rudhyar referred to as a “crisis in consciousness.” By this he meant that the accumulated trials of the previous three weeks of the existing lunar cycle have put us in a different place, so that our state of knowledge and understanding concerning our situation has reached a kind of impasse; we need a new starting point in order to go on.

There is thus an implied perspective shift inherent in this lunar phase, a new way of seeing the world around us that will, as seed idea, carry us into the next cycle. Couple that with the Sun in Uranus’ sign and we have before us another dynamic juncture. Perhaps the biggest news in the current astrology is Uranus, being in close conjunction with Eris, and opposed by Jupiter. This brings surprising events, trickster activities, and unexpected enlightenment to the fore, just as the Sun entering into Aquarius further supports this archetype. We can therefore expect that the astonishing twists and turns of these past few months will continue.

Of course here in the U.S., this is also the timing of the inauguration of a new administration, on the 20th, and as well the coming weekend’s Women’s March on Washington in protest of this particular president-elect. This latter event reflects the highlighted presence of the new astrological archetype of Eris, Feminine Warrior energy in support of deep soul intention, as my research has shown.

Transformational New Moon in Scorpio [Video]

Joseph P Anthony – November 2016 starts on a pretty similar note to that of the previous month except there is feeling of change in the air, that’s because last month’s New Moon in Scorpio marks another momentous crossroads for humanity.

The sign Scorpio rules death, as well as transformation. Its ruler is Pluto, the Greek god of the Underworld, the terrain of the “unconscious”. What needs to die this month before it can be reborn? Scorpio is the only astrological sign that has three symbols- the Scorpion (physical), the Eagle (psychological) and the Phoenix (spiritual) – showing that there are three levels of transformation to be achieved before true metamorphosis can occur.
