Mad Prosecution Machine: Trump Trial Madness Unfolds

Mad Prosecution Machine: Trump Trial Madness UnfoldsJonathan Turley – Rube Goldberg, the inventor of bizarre machines that performed simple tasks through dozens of mechanical steps, was once asked about the essence of creating such fantastic, illogical machines. He replied “An inventor is simply a fellow who doesn’t take his education too seriously.”

After the first week of testimony, the trial of Donald Trump is increasingly looking like a mad prosecution machine by lawyers who don’t take law too seriously. Continue reading

The Legal Drama: Letitia James’ Pursuit of Donald Trump

The Legal Drama: Letitia James' Pursuit of Donald Trump

Douglas Andrews – This is how sick our society has become: Letitia James ran for attorney general of New York in 2018 on a platform to perp-walk and prosecute Donald Trump, calling him “illegitimate” and “an embarrassment.” And she won.

Perhaps New Yorkers, though, upon reflection, would ultimately realize that the Get Trump industry is a crooked one and that decent people don’t elect an attorney general on a promise to go after a particular citizen but rather to duly uphold and enforce the law. But no. The citizens of the once-proud but now Trump-deranged Empire State reelected her in 2022 by nearly half a million votes. So much for calls of conscience. Continue reading

Trump’s Crime Is “Being Donald Trump”

Trump's Crime Is "Being Donald Trump"John Leonard – Technically speaking, Donald Trump is guilty of something — he’s guilty of the crime of being Donald Trump. He hasn’t broken any laws, but laws have been modified to break him.

As former NKVD (now the KGB) head Lavrentiy Beria once famously said, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” The Democrats have been shown one term of Donald Trump in power and they didn’t like what they saw.

Energy independence, historically low unemployment, almost zero inflation, a strong economy… I mean, who wants that? Continue reading

A Tale of Two Presidents

A Tale of Two PresidentsJ.B. Shurk – President-In-Name-Only Joe Biden finally decided to visit East Palestine, Ohio — the community that last year endured both a toxic train derailment and the government’s questionable decision to burn the spilled hazardous chemicals and poison the region’s air.

Given Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, it’s impossible to know whether PINO mistakenly thought he was heading out to provide aid and comfort to Palestinian terrorists in their war against Israel or whether he wanted to belatedly feign love for blue-collar Americans before demanding their votes in November. Either way, Dementia Joe made the trip late in the day on a Friday so that coverage of his visit would disappear with the rest of the administration’s conveniently flushed news. Continue reading

US Supreme Court Schedules Emergency Trump Hearing

US Supreme Court Schedules Emergency Trump HearingJessica C. – Well, you don’t see this very often. In normal years, the Supreme Court takes a three-week break from hearing oral arguments between late January and mid-February. Not this year, though. They have scheduled an emergency hearing on the Trump v. Anderson case, in which the Colorado Supreme Court wants to ban Donald Trump from the ballot in Colorado because of the fake insurrection.

This is pretty much an acknowledgement by the Supreme Court that the Democrats have created a constitutional crisis through their extreme lawfare against America’s real president. Continue reading
