Gibbous Moon in Aquarius:  trust

Sun: 12 Virgo – “a bride with her veil snatched away”

Earth: 12 Pisces – “an examination of initiates in the sanctuary of an occult brotherhood”

sunLaura Walker – We continue the path toward the Full Moon on September 6 with Mars, Mercury, the Sun, Neptune, and Uranus highly active.  (See yesterday’s report for more information or look at it again to see how it reads in the light of today.)

In yesterday’s report, I wrote that the Sun was making conjunction with Neptune.  I made a mistake — kind of.  The Sun is opposing Neptune. Conjunctions and oppositions are basically the same.  Astrological conjunctions make revelations or insights that are “newer,” and astrological oppositions make revelations or insights that are “fuller.”  Conjunctions are equivalent to a New Moon phase (beginnings); oppositions are equivalent to a Full Moon phase (clarity about those beginnings). An Introspective and Surprising Month of September

septemberHenry Seltzer – The astrology of September features Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Mercury is still retrograde as the month begins, stationing to direct motion on the 5th and finally escaping its retrograde shadow on the 19th. Mars was involved in a grand trine in Fire signs with Saturn and Eris in the timing of the very powerful New Moon and solar eclipse of August 21st that initiated the current thirty-day lunation.

Mars also conjuncts retrograde Mercury at the eclipse degree on September 3rd, just before his entrance into Mercury’s sign of Virgo on the 5th. Because the solar eclipse was in partile trine with Uranus, echoed in the New Moon of September 19th, we may expect weird doings all month long, plus unexpected enlightenment, “in the strangest of places.” With the new planet, Eris, emphasized as well, representing a spiritual warrior energy in support of soul intention, we are likely to come much closer to a true understanding of what motivates us at deep levels, especially if we are paying attention.

Neptune is definitely involved in the changes and the challenges of September. For one thing, the Full Moon of September 6th precisely conjuncts Neptune. Then, too, Jupiter aspected Neptune at the August 21st eclipse event, while, when Mercury stationed retrograde, it was opposed to Neptune, initiating an unusually strong retrograde period that is completing by the 19th –taking the retrograde shadow into account. Full Moon Phase in Pisces: clarity, revelations

Sun: 18 Leo – “a chemist conducts an experiment for his students”

Higher Expression: remixing or reshuffling elements of a situation, trying something new, transformation of one state (of mind?) to another

Lower Expression: fear of venturing outside of boundaries or into something new, holding back, discarding ideas or options based on fear of change

Earth: 18 Aquarius – “a man being unmasked at a masquerade”

Higher Expression: out in the open, pleasant surprises, going beyond the persona, transcendental

Lower Expression: secrets, embarrassment, harsh self-criticism and judgment, going into something unprepared

venusLaura Walker – True colors show today.

Within today’s Sabian symbol energetics we have a chemist (an “alchemist”), a masked man, a lady wrapped in fox fur, and a clown. What do you think about this crew?

These energetics bring revelations! Are you ready for more?

Neptune and the 3rd Eye

trustDjwhal Khul here. Tashi Delek.

Alright. This week we have Neptune going retrograde in what I call psychic Pisces so we’ve got a lot of watery activity affecting the 3rd Eye center.

The 3rd Eye is certainly used for intuition and it’s used for telepathic communication and everything from that subtle, you know, you just think about your best friend and then suddenly the phone rings and it’s your best friend that you were thinking about to your animal companions being able to communicate to you, their water bowl is empty or they don’t feel very good or the food is causing an allergic reaction, or something like that.

A Transformational November of Taking a Stand

deepHenry Seltzer – The astrology of November features Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Eris. All the outer planets are strongly represented in the New Moon and Full Moon configurations, so that, as the month continues to unfold, our awareness of the transformational intensity of these times that we are living through is ever-present. The October 30th New Moon sets the stage for this powerful November cycle, bringing forward into the picture the astrological factor of thoughtful Mercury, in close conjunction with the Sun and Moon that day, and representing greater consciousness and a species of abstract logical analysis.

The sign placement of these personal planets being Scorpio becomes an added factor of emotional intensity that stirs us deeply, especially when we consider that Mercury is in partile or same-degree trine formation with the Pisces placement of numinous Neptune. We are therefore this entire month experiencing a compassionate and a highly idealized time of recognizing what we all hold deep inside ourselves, that directly connects with, and supports and underlies, the surface details of all our activities in the visible physical plane that we more consciously inhabit.

As befits this Scorpionic time of the year, the surface layers of our more normative comings and goings are only part of the story now, with the vast unseen realm of unconscious process taking a major role in the characterization of this month’s true activity.
