Obama Vows Escalated War OF Terror

terroristStephen Lendman – Post-9/11, America deceptively launched what it called a Global War on Terrorism.

It’s a war OF terrorism on humanity, using its military might along with rogue NATO and other partners, currently supporting ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere.

Following state-sponsored false flags in Paris and San Bernardino, US Middle East aggression escalated, on the phony pretext of combating ISIS.

Speaking from the Pentagon on Monday after meeting with his national security advisors, Obama lied claiming US “armed forces continue to lead the global coalition in our mission to destroy the terrorist group ISIL.”

Fact: Washington supports terrorist elements it claims to oppose, mainly ISIS.

Obama lied claiming US and partnered forces “on the ground are rooting ISIL out, town by town, neighborhood by neighborhood, block by block.” Just the opposite is true.

Fact: Syria’s military is the only ground force fighting ISIS and other terrorists – effectively retaking earlier lost territory with formidable Russian air power help, hitting multiple terrorist targets daily with deadly accuracy.

governmentSimon Black – It’s time to get serious.

One of the major themes of this daily e-letter is that major western governments are flat broke.

This is not the first time that a major world power has gone bankrupt, and we need only to look to history to see the consequences.

Thousands of years ago, as Rome’s bleak financial condition deteriorated, it didn’t create a crisis all at once.

Initially the Empire was able to limp along by debasing the currency and diluting the value of people’s money.

But eventually that was no longer enough, so the government’s tactics became worse.

They started imposing more severe taxes, imposing austere wage and price controls, and eventually by confiscating people’s assets altogether.

Rome’s government did whatever it took to remain in power and maintain the status quo for a little while longer, no matter what.

We’ve seen this over and over throughout history, enough times to recognize that when superpowers go broke, it is not a consequence-free environment.

It’s happening again today.

Some modern examples are comical, such as the United Kingdom’s new tax ‘task force’ to crack down on strippers and prostitutes who are suspected of not paying enough tax.

I’m sure there’s probably a lengthy queue of bureaucrats hoping to get assigned to the case.

Obama Denigrates the Professional Integrity/Investigation of the FBI

FBISteve  Pieczenik – Over the past few days, I was completely stunned when I heard Obama pronounce in an interview that “Sec. State Hillary Clinton had made mistakes with her personal Email server. But she did not harm national security.” I have already explained in my former blogs how Hillary was guilty of having a personal server for her emails. I have already stated my views that the Diplomatic Security Service of the State Department; as well as, Pat Kennedy, Under Secretary for Management at the State Dept., were both culpable in allowing Hillary to commit this travesty of justice.

However, I, like many of my national security colleagues, were waiting for what one institution in the federal bureaucracy would determine concerning the legality of Hillary’s actions— THE FBI. Any hopes that the FBI could conduct their usually professional, extensive, and impartial investigations were immediately negated by the impromptu statements made by POTUS on the TV show, “60 Minutes.” The lawyer, Obama, knew that as an officer of the court he was sworn to uphold the laws of the court. Accordingly, he was obligated to keep his mouth shut regarding any ongoing federal investigations.

In the last few days, Obama has evidenced a real problem with his ability to assess reality– both in foreign and domestic issues. Without delving into any fancy psychiatric terms, Obama is clearly showing signs of mental fatigue; as well as, erratic, inconsistent behaviors. No recent statement has been more detrimental to the State of the Union than the one he just made undermining the legitimacy of the present FBI investigations into Hillary’s use of personal emails. Is Barack Obama Actually TRYING To Start World War III?

Michael Snyder – Why has Barack Obama airdropped 50 tons of ammunition into areas that “moderate rebels” in Syria supposedly control?  This is essentially the equivalent of poking the Russians directly in the eyes.  Much of this ammunition will end up in the hands of those that the Russians are attempting to bomb into oblivion, and so to Russia it appears that we are attempting to make their job much harder.  And of course the truth is that there aren’t really any “moderate rebels” in Syria at all.  Nearly all of the groups that are fighting are made up primarily of radical jihadists and/or hired mercenaries.  Personally, I don’t see anyone over there that you could call “the good guys”.  At the end of the day, the U.S. supports just about anyone that wants to get rid of the Assad regime, and the Russians are working very hard to keep Assad in power.  Just like the civil war in Ukraine, the conflict in Syria is in great danger of being transformed into a proxy war between the United States and Russia, and many fear that these conflicts could eventually be setting the stage for World War III.

The ferocity of Russian airstrikes in Syria has surprised observers all over the planet, and over the past couple of days these airstrikes have been extended to include some new areas…

Russian Air Forces have extended the range of their airstrikes on Islamic State positions in Syria to four provinces, focusing primarily on demolishing fortified installations and eliminating supply bases and the terrorists’ infrastructure.

Over the last 24 hours Russian aircraft have attacked terrorist positions in the Hama, Idlib, Latakia and Raqqa provinces of Syria. In total, 64 sorties targeted 63 Islamic State installations, among them 53 fortified zones, 7 arms depots, 4 training camps and a command post.

When I read reports like this, I am deeply troubled.  The Obama administration claims that it has been bombing ISIS positions in Syria for over a year.  So why in the world do these targets still exist? Continue reading →

(those who watch CNN, Fox and BBC, those who actually pay to read the tabloid press where seemingly independent newspapers on news stands from Kiev to Paris, London to New York, Boston to Los Angeles, Toronto to Vancouver and back again, paid lip service to the tag lines and outdated rhetoric that has been associated with Russia since the beginning of the Cold War)

…like parrots spewed out the same garbage in the comments sections across the Internet. Recognize any of these?

The Russians are coming.

Russia is a Hegemon.

The Socialist threat.

Putin is a KGB thug.

Putin is a dictator.

Those few who neither watch nor read any of the above news outlets because they have over time educated themselves, think for themselves and know fully well that the Main Stream Media by and large is a propaganda machine controlled by Murdoch Media with CIA operatives embedded in the system to make sure that the “party line” is churned out ad nauseam, gave up on them a long time ago.
