WHO Set to Classify Red Meat, Processed Meats as “Probably Carcinogenic”

meatJulie Fidler – Summertime cookouts are about to look a lot different to many people who will undoubtedly switch out brats, burgers, and steaks for chicken, pork, or even portabella mushrooms. The World Health Organization (WHO) is reportedly planning to classify red meat, bacon, sausages and other processed meats as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”

That means that some of the world’s favorite foods will soon be in the same classification as cigarettes, alcohol, and asbestos. Red meat is likely to be ranked as only slightly less hazardous than preserved meats. [1]

Eating too much red meat has already been linked to heart disease, various types of cancer, and early death, but has never officially been classified as a cancer-causing food. In 2014, the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) – the same organization arm that classified the herbicide glyphosate as probably carcinogenic – cited studies linking red and processed meats to colorectal, esophageal, lung, and pancreatic cancer, saying that determining the connection was a “high priority.”

According to the World Cancer Research Fund, “There is strong evidence that eating a lot of these foods [red and processed meat] increases your risk of bowel cancer.” Experts estimate that half of all cases of the disease could be prevented by adopting a healthier lifestyle.

Additionally, according to Harvard Medical School, cutting out or reducing red meat consumption can help prolong your life by up to 20%. The study, published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, found unequivocally that people who ate the most red meat (especially processed red meats) died younger, and most often from cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

Over the past few decades the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and their partners at big pharma have attempted many times to get a ‘pandemic’ off the ground that would include forced vaccinations.

Over the past year, they have succeeded in convincing hospitals and clinics to require their employees take an unnecessary and risky flu shot as a condition of their continued employment. This was a huge and very profitable coup for big pharma. [Employee opt out info.]

Never underestimate the power of big pharma when it comes to influencing policies in America. The only lobbying interests with more clout are AIPAC and the banking industry.

Before we get to vaccines, I want to give you a quote about fluorides, just to set the stage.

Stan Freni is a researcher who, in 1994, wrote a paper about fluorides, the substances in many toothpastes, also pumped intentionally into the drinking water of many communities and cities.

Funny thing is, Stan Freni wrote his paper as an employee for the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The title of the paper is “Exposure to High Fluoride Concentrations in Drinking Water is Associated With Decreased Birth Rates.”

It was published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health (v.42, pp.109-121, 1994). Freni writes:

“A US database of drinking water systems was used to identify index counties with water systems reporting fluoride levels of at least 3ppm (parts per million)…the annual total fertility rate (TFR) for women in the age range 10-49 yr. was calculated for the period 1970-1988…Most regions showed an association of decreasing TFR with increasing fluoride levels.”

Increasing fluoride levels, lower fertility rates. Depopulation here in the US, right in your water.

When it comes to infectious disease pandemics, one thing you can always count on is that the World Health Organization will be sounding the alarm whether it’s justified or not. Case in point? The WHO’s new declaration that polio is a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” (PHEIC). (1)

The WHO officially describes this as “an extraordinary event which is determined to constitute a public health risk to other States through the international spread of disease and to potentially require a coordinated international response.”

And just what is this “extraordinary event” of which we should all be so terrified that the entire mainstream media dutifully reports it as a “global health emergency?”

The answer is 68 cases of polio on the planet. (2) And of those 68 cases of polio, 59 of them were in Pakistan.

In other words, if you don’t live in Pakistan — and let’s face it, most people don’t — your odds of having contracted polio so far this year are about one in a billion. If you live in the USA, your odds are exactly ZERO, as there haven’t been any polio cases in the USA since 1979. (What, you didn’t hear this medical fact on the evening news?)

So how does a one in a billion risk of polio translate into “an extraordinary event” which constitutes a global public health risk?

It doesn’t, of course. Unless you are a quack science public health organization trying to use fear tactics to scare the entire planet into buying polio vaccines. That’s what the WHO is best at, of course: declaring false pandemics to cajole governments into stockpiling vaccines they’ll never use. Remember the swine flu pandemic of 2009 during which the WHO declared a phase six pandemic? It turns out most of the WHO’s advisory board members had financial ties to vaccine manufacturers. Governments around the world purchased huge stockpiles of swine flu vaccines, then later had to pay even more to have them destroyed when they weren’t needed.

Is one in a billion really a global pandemic?

When the mainstream media throws around the phrase “global pandemic,” it brings to mind images of mass global death with millions of body bags and a catastrophic contagion. A new report issued by the World Health Organization denounces the current overuse of antibiotics and is saying that antibiotics now pose a “major global threat” to public health.

Calling for urgent action, WHO says that antibiotic resistance is occurring “in every region of the world.” Describing the current medical landscape as a “post-antibiotic era,” WHO is revealing that simple infections, once treatable, are now capable of taking lives en masse. After analyzing data from 114 countries, WHO has deemed that “devastating implications are imminent, unless “significant” and prompt action is taken. In utter hypocrisy, WHO is calling for the development of new antibiotics and new vaccines to overcome the resistant strains of bacteria.

“What we urgently need is a solid global plan of action which provides for the rational use of antibiotics,” the WHO report stated.
