Trans Man Takes Home Women’s World Cycling Win

McKinnonMommy Underground – Feminism of the modern era emphasizes that women have to work much harder to receive what our culture gives men; which is true, but not consistently supported by the left.

Somehow, progressives believe in the feminist movement, and that transgenders who are biologically male should be able to take on the women’s struggle.

You can not have your cake and eat it too!

Waking up and deciding you no longer want to be male, and you are now going to present as female, does not give you a right to trample on things women have worked a long time for.

The Daily Wire:

On Sunday, two women competing in the women’s sprint 35-39 age bracket at the 2018 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships in Los Angeles wound up finishing second and third, losing to a biologically male Canadian professor who identifies as a woman.”

Males compete in different events than females for a reason. Biologically, males are generally made to be stronger, bigger, and more athletic.

This coincides with the family design, and how the male is to protect his family, while the woman is beautifully designed to bring new life into this world.

As Activist Mommy points out:

Women’s value and worth is not defined by our ability to be like men, but in our value as human beings who are equal to men in the eyes of the Creator, designed differently for different purposes than men.”

To compete in major sports events, people have to train for months, sometimes years, to be the best in their class.

It is unfair to the women in the world cycling race, who prepared by pushing their bodies to the max, to have a man come in and sweep the win right from under them.

Yes, Rachel McKinnon, the transgender Cycling World Championship winner, probably trained hard as well, but he begun with a whole lot of genetics already giving him the advantage.

Photos taken after the race show McKinnon towering above the second and third place winners, who were knocked down a peg by a man infiltrating their league as an equal.

This didn’t stop McKinnon from being proud of the win, as he tweeted about his victory writing, “Sooooo…I’m a WORLD CHAMPION.”

The college McKinnon (ironically) teaches courses in ethics at contributed praises as well writing, “Congratulations to assistant professor Rachel McKinnon on a major athletic accomplishment!”

It is a dangerous precedent sporting events have begun by allowing men to compete against women.

Their average strength and size could compromise the safety of the women they are competing, especially in physical contact sports.

This has already been happening in various arenas such as when a girl, who was transitioning to be a boy, on testosterone took home a state championship, as Mommy Underground has previously reported.

Not all viewers are sitting idly by. Many took to social media to site their disdain for McKinnon’s actions.

This reportedly made McKinnon angry, as he tweeted in response to the naysayers that there are “lots of transphobic bigots” responding to the win.

When asked by USA Today about men having to suppress their testosterone in order to compete in Women’s event, McKinnon adamantly opposed saying that,

We shouldn’t be worried about trans people taking over the Olympics. We should be worried about their fairness and human rights instead.”

That’s easy for McKinnon to say, as he doesn’t have to work nearly as hard as the females he is competing against to beat them.

How is crashing sporting events a human rights issue?

Fairness was mentioned, but what McKinnon is advocating for is beyond unfair.

The situation was then compared to racism by McKinnon, how white people were allegedly mad when black people were allowed to enter sporting events.

One major flaw in this false analogy is that the color of someone’s skin is something they were born with, and doesn’t change a man being a man, and a woman being a woman.

It will be a sad day in sports history if transgenders continue to be allowed to take over women’s sports, leaving the actual women to fall by the athletic wayside.

Do you think that it is just and fair to allow men who identify as female to compete in women’s sporting events?

Should McKinnon be proud of his win, trying to make cycling a human rights issue?
