Right News Wire – Voters in Argentina elected a new President on Sunday.

The results could be a harbinger of bad news for Democrats in 2024.

And Donald Trump had four words for Argentina’s new President that sent Democrats into a fit of rage.

Javier Milei rocked the political world on Sunday when he won Argentina’s Presidential election by nearly 12 points over his opponent and current minister of the economy Sergio Massa.

Under current socialist President Alberto Fernandez, Argentina is suffering from a severe economic crisis.

Inflation skyrocketed up to 140% and sent poverty levels through the roof.

Like Fernandez, Massa is also a devout socialist.

However, Javier Milei is a libertarian economist who ran for the Liberty Advances party and promoted a platform of lowering taxes, cutting spending, removing bureaucratic red tape, eliminating the Argentine Central Bank, and restoring individual liberty.

Milei has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump’s America First policies over the years.

In 2018, Milei told a reporter that politicians in Argentina only hate Trump because “he lowers taxes, the economy grows, and the national debt shrinks.”

“He proves that they are useless, and all they do is s**t on our lives,” Milei said.

On the Presidential campaign trail, Milei praised Trump and called him “one of the few who fully understood that the fight is against socialists, it’s against statists, and perfectly understood that the generation of wealth comes from the private sector.”

Tucker Carlson interviewed Milei in mid-September and he told the former Fox News host that his only advice for Trump was “to redouble efforts from the same position – don’t give the socialists any respite, not even for a second.”

On Tuesday, Donald Trump posted a video on Truth Social congratulating Milei on his victory in the Presidential election.

“Congratulations to Javier Milei on a great race for President,” Trump said in the video. “The whole world was watching, and I am very proud of you.”

Trump wished him luck and encouraged the President-elect to “Make Argentina Great Again.”

“You will turn your country around and truly make Argentina great again – congratulations!” Trump said.
