American Liberty Report – Hey, libs! He’s baaaaaack! The big orange nightmare who haunts your dreams and most of your waking moments held a rally in Ohio over the weekend. He looks remarkably fit. Almost like a fighter who’s getting ready for a comeback.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Ohio rally was timed to happen just before we were supposed to be getting the preliminary results of the Arizona audit. Alas, that’s been delayed for reasons unknown. As for the rally itself, it was huge. The crowd – both online and in person – was absolutely massive. Even temporarily out of office, President Trump continues to draw bigger crowds on a random day than Joe Biden has ever drawn in his entire career.
I don’t have much else to say about the rally, because I assume you probably watched part or all of it yourself if you’re reading this. Trump continues to be awesome, and he really needs to shut up about the “vaccines” because that disaster is only just beginning to unfold.
Meantime, what happened in Arizona? The ballot inspection portion of the Maricopa County audit wrapped up on Friday evening. There were numerous reports that we’d be getting a preliminary report on Monday. Then Monday rolled around, and now the latest is that there will be no preliminary report. The auditors will wrap up the remainder of their work and will issue a final report – sometime around the end of July or possibly sometime in August.
*Sigh*
Remember all those times when I warned that we’d need to be patient as this thing unfolds?
There was one significant thing that happened in Arizona, however. The state legislature stripped away the powers of their dingbat Secretary of State. She can no longer throw up election lawsuits and pull other shenanigans to try to stop the audit. That power has been delegated back to Arizona’s state Attorney General. It’s been nearly 48 hours and he hasn’t sued the auditors yet, so it looks like that was possibly a good move.
The most frustrating part of the audit strategy is all the conservative pundits and news outlets that keep pulling a Hillary Clintonesque, Benghazi-style fit. They’re stamping their feet and pounding their fists and screeching, “At this point, what difference does it make?! Joe Biden has been sworn in and there’s nothing we can doooooo!!!!!”
I’ve seen that argument on Fox News, Instapundit/Pajamas Media, RedState, Breitbart and who knows how many other outlets. And it’s a pile of horse manure on a hot June sidewalk.
The law requires that a candidate must win a clear majority of electoral college votes to win the presidency. There’s no scenario in which a state’s electoral votes are going to be clawed away from Joe Biden and given to Donald Trump. There’s just not. But there is a clear, well-established legal path for Donald Trump to be reinstated.
When the Arizona audit reveals that the 2020 results are fraudulent, the state legislature can recall its electors. Attorney Sidney Powell mentioned this over the weekend. If Arizona’s electoral votes are stripped away from the cheater, his total drops to 295 electoral votes. If the same thing happens after the Georgia audit, his total drops to 280. If Pennsylvania does an audit and reveals fraud, the cheater’s total drops to 260, well below the constitutionally required clear majority of 270 votes.
If neither candidate has the clear majority of 270 votes in the 2020 contest, like in the proverbial 269-269 tie which has never happened, then the election reverts back to Congress. Each state gets one vote. Trump wins 27-23 if each “red” state delegation votes for him. And then Trump is reinstated. Note that all of this is perfectly legal and logical under existing law, requiring no interpretation of the laws and no need for the feckless and cowardly US Supreme Court to make a ruling on it.
Cheaters don’t get to keep the trophy when their cheating is proven. No one walks around claiming Lance Armstrong was the greatest cyclist of all time. When his cheating was discovered, all of his trophies were taken away from him. He’s been banned from sports for life and has paid millions of dollars in fines to the Justice Department and other entities that have sued the pants off him. He will forever be a pariah because he cheated.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris deserve to be similarly punished once the fraud is exposed and Donald Trump is reinstated.
