We Must Make America Our Own

valuesChristopher Chantrill – Back in 2020 Joe Biden said he was running to save the world from Climate Change and Systemic Racism. How’s that coming along Joey? What? Can’t hear you down in the basement! What? You’re too busy saving the world from Putin? O-Kay.

Climate Change is the way the global elite proves to you that they are saving you from a fate worse than death. Fighting Climate Change gives their lives meaning, like Maurice Strong, the Canadian who went from oilman to environmental wacko and founder of the UN Environment Programme and saving the world.

Systemic Racism is the way that our nation’s elite deals with the fact that its rule of the last 100 years has Made Things Worse: for the white working class, for blacks, and for women — gays and transgenders next up. But that can’t be true. It just can’t!  So everything our elite is doing today, from de-policing our neighborhoods to de-grading our schools, to automatic bail for everyone except armed insurrectionists, is about convincing themselves that it’s all the fault of the enemy, malevolent white supremacists. And It’s Not Our Fault.

I don’t know about you but I consider Climate Change a recipe for economic disaster and I consider Systemic Racism a crime against humanity.

But how do we make it stop?

The simple answer is: we can’t, because We the People don’t get a voice. I just read a piece quoting our noble Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen saying — even now — that we are not doing enough on fighting Climate Change. See?

The usual suspects are still repeating the Climate Change narrative as though nothing had happened and we aren’t in the middle of a serious energy crisis because of the convergence of Russia-Ukraine and the German Energiewende.  And you don’t get to disrupt Yellen’s narrative because you aren’t a student at Yale Law School with an unlimited Protest Pass from teacher. Hey even Jim Geraghty at National Review is into climate change, because cracking building foundations in the melting permafrost in Russia.

But if the Climate does Change, I vote for Elon Musk — using his unrealized gains from SpaceX — rather than Maurice Strong and his adepts to show us how to adapt to a changed world. What? President Biden wants to tax billionaire unrealized gains?

And we don’t get a voice on Systemic Racism. Don’t you dare say a word against the highly-qualified Kentanji Brown Jackson, because you are not a biologist. Don’t you dare sympathize with police trying to arrest drugged-out criminals, because you are not a police violence specialist. Don’t you dare kick the homeless out of our parks and sidewalks, because you are not a marginalized people expert. Don’t you dare kick disruptive kids out of school; you don’t understand their lived experience.

Right now, the British opinion site UnHerd.com is writing about “The Fall of Seattle” and how the police are totally demoralized and “longtime small businesses [are] closing their doors for good or leaving our city.” But I live in liberal North Seattle and the Biden-Harris signs are still out, the BLM signs are still out, the #WeBelieve signs are still out and tech-dads are taking their 18-month-olds out on the sidewalk for a first look at the neighborhood and nice liberal ladies are still voting Democrat. You think Seattle liberals will ever vote for change? Did the blacks ever stop voting Democrat as the city of Detroit descended into Hell?

In other words, neither the “over” or the “under” in the Democrats’ political coalition can imagine a world outside the narrative. And it doesn’t matter what the narrative is. One year it’s civil rights. Another year it’s women’s rights. This year it’s trans rights and it’s “don’t say gay” if you don’t toe the line. So we just have to work around them. Even though we aren’t allowed a voice.

We want a better America. It’s an America where ordinary middle-class values are at the center: work, marriage, family, children, and a home of your own. Oh, you can be a noble activist if you want, or get creative with sex if you must, but don’t expect us to celebrate you and put you on a pedestal.

And you can be a helpless victim, if that’s your thing. But remember that almost every immigrant group that came to America came from a bad place. Almost everyone started out as a second-class citizen, sneered at for their lack of skills, their dirty habits, and above all, their difference. Then they just sucked it in, and made America their own. You could too.

That’s the point about America. It’s up to each of us to make it our own.

Whatever stupidity our educated elite gets up to next week.

  1. Well said both the writers. I have been reading similar articles since 1980’s. If you are going to heaven you will not see these guys. When they are being punished in the hell you will never be witnessing it. So please try to unlearn the knowledge about such people. If possible tell your memory cells to dump all memories of the people who are not interested in right or wrong actions. Many beautiful words and terms in the english language have already become redundant and jokes for such people. Love, empathy, brotherhood etc., enrich our personal neurons thus give our minds a great relief and happiness. Lets save our morality and our high ground. They have nothing to loose but we have lot to loose. Thank you

    1. Jasminder, Thank you for the gentle reminder to be polite and respectful. On the other hand, optimistically hoping some of the ‘anti-social’ (I don’t believe in ‘good’ and ‘evil’ in this action-reaction universe of ours) perpetrators will read what I write and rethink what they’re doing, I think sometimes it may be appropriate to phrase things in terms familiar to ‘them,’ which just might help to trigger a favorable shift in their frequencies.

In addition to what I first wrote, I believe if we ‘make America our own’ it should be in accordance with at least a strict, literal interpretation of the Preamble (minimally; embedded as it is with at least some of the laws of God and/or nature) to the Constitution of the United States of America of 1787 (not the Holy Bible; not the Declaration of Independence; not Presidential letters or speeches, etc.) as ratified and legally amended and modified since. Also, if something has only been legislated into law, not amended into constitutional law, it can still be challenged on the basis of constitutionality, time and again, by any who have the means to do that. Be safe; be well; be yourself.

  2. It’s a strange concept as to what is America. What was intended to be a melting pot of sovereign free will people working together turned into a national slaughterhouse of indigenous natives. Americans believed they were slaughtering native americans for reasons of progress. To build banks, make war machines, and replace native american tents with churches to honor that european catholic god which came from the jew torah god. Anthems of how holy they were to do this because the european catholic god shed his grace on thee. The slaughter of america’s indigenous wasn’t enough. Clean waterways were destroyed by pollution, forests shredded, plant and animal life extinction, etc.
This foundation of brotherhood that is supposed to be america is simply a mystery or a well choreographed playwright with madison ave advertising. But this advertising has been very successful. The intent of advertising is to subliminally lead you to the purchase of a product. Anyone who has bought the history book saying America needs to get back to the good old days has been sublimely lead into a hypnotized state OR they believe in the entire deception.
The way to leave all of this is go within to discover your inner spirit residing within your heart. This is your private experience. One half of you is at the conscious awareness level and the other half is your inner heart spirit. The brain is not organic to mammalian humanity. The brain is controllable and programmable. The thing was inserted into the front of your experience leaving the heart subtly in the background. Your heart is not programmable. Who can tell the difference between the heart’s intuition and the ego’s boisterous non stop blatherings?

  3. “But how do we make it stop?” From the perspective of a prematurely retired primarily diagnostic industrial electrician who used to be in the 33% to 35% tax bracket (everything included) as a once able bodied non-custodial divorced parent, first we identify the root causes: religion, overpopulation, unfair taxation and greed itself and then address them. One of the major flaws of American, and Joe Biden’s, thinking is that businesses in general, and corporations in particular, pay taxes. However large or small, successful businesses simply pass on the cost of taxation (including a lot of senseless, wasted man-hours in preparation and pseudo-paying) in the form of higher prices, lower quality and/or diminished services. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t be successful.

Therefore, when the President suggests a 20% tax on billionaires ‘making’ (as opposed to ‘earning’) over a $100 million a year and raising taxes on corporations from 21% up to 28%, he’s actually suggesting screwing the poor/working/middle-class majority again and causing more inflation (the most unfair tax of all on the disadvantaged). I know of no provision in the US Constitution for obscene wealth to coexist with abject poverty or for the federal government to deliberately cause inflation. In terms of ‘promoting the general welfare,’ while only casually doing the math I suggest we first abolish all domestic taxation and then institute a two level flat-rate personal tax system: about 10% on all ‘earned’ personal income and about 90% on all non-retirement ‘unearned’ personal income. Anyone who doesn’t want to be overtaxed can get a subsistence level job (as opposed to investing as a source of income) if they like. On the ‘up’ side, no one would lose their current real estate due to non-payment of those then abolished taxes.

As to overpopulation and religion, once greed has been gotten under control there’ll be no motivation for big business or the Church to promote ‘begetting and begetting and begetting’ and immigration. When the vast majority of us can actually plan futures we’ll probably see another great impetus toward ZPG (Zero Population Growth), as in the US in the early 1980s. Already getting a tad verbose, I’ll conclude this for now by stating that I, domestically born during W.W.II of American born citizens, as a now senior citizen once required to learn the US Constitution, twice, before graduating public high school, I find that anyone who deliberately injures the majority inherently ‘aids and comforts’ our real enemies, most of whom are now domestic and guilty of treason. I don’t believe there will be ‘forgiveness of our sins’ upon death and I think most of our current monopolistic traitors will go directly to ‘Hell,’ will not pass ‘GO’ and will not collect ‘$200.’
