Sara Carter – Former and current intelligence officials bent on targeting a duly elected president have used years of training and experience overseas to continue to push a narrative that President Donald Trump cannot be trusted to lead the nation. They do this with the help of a very eager main stream media that is willing to spread their lies and disinformation. Why? Because they also don’t want Trump in office.
These are Trump’s enemies. The President’s battle with them is fierce and the actions of these individuals are extremely dangerous to our democracy and the basic concepts in ethics that made our society – American society – trust in journalists. News agencies are to be the watchdog of government, yes, but the institution isn’t supposed to cross the line and become the mouthpiece for any political party, intelligence community or federal government apparatus.
On Saturday morning, a frustrated president Tweeted out that “the Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, want to stay as afar away as possible from the Joe Biden demand that the Ukrainian Government fire a prosecutor who was investigating his son, or they won’t get a very large amount of U.S. money, so they fabricate a story about me and a perfectly routine conversation I had with the new President of the Ukraine. Nothing to was that was in any way wrong, but Biden’s demand, on the other hand, was a complete and total disaster. The Fake News knows this but doesn’t want to report.

Later in the day, Trump openly stated that he spoke to the Ukrainian president about Biden. There is nothing wrong with him doing so. It looks like some of his enemies in the intelligence community found another way to get what is considered highly classified phone conversations public and in the media. Remember, the way they did with former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
This time, an undisclosed whistleblower, with intelligence access, reported the President’s conversation to the Inspector General. That’s all it took and voila, eventually the story was leaked. If this is the case and Democrats want the the report of his conversation, shouldn’t the American public have the right to all conversations with previous Presidents and the Ukrainian government.
And why does the media and Democrat Party ignore the real evidence that has exposed some in their own party. Will anyone in the Department of Justice, or in Congress, actually investigate the circumstances surrounding Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s dealings with Ukraine?
Further, what about Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton’s dealings with the Swiss Bank UBS and it’s previous banking scandal with the IRS. Many people don’t remember but Hillary Clinton intervened on behalf of UBS bank in 2009 when she was Secretary of States. She assisted in cutting a deal for the largest Swiss bank, which was under scrutiny with the IRS and it led to the bank turning over only 4,450 accounts for the agency to review. It was first reported in the Wall Street Journal, which noted it was just a fraction of the 52,000 sought by the IRS. Despite criticism, her husband was later paid $1.5 million in speaking fees from UBS bank.
It was never fully investigated. It disappeared from the public eye and the public was left in the dark.
Still, what about Biden and son? Why aren’t the Democrats questioning them on the unusual convergence of political power and foreign money?
Peter Schweizer, President of the Government Accountability Institute and author of Secret Empires, was one of the first to report on the Biden Ukrainian connection and the need for an investigation. He told Fox New’s Laura Ingraham in May that there is a combination of issues as to why the Biden’s have not faced the scrutiny faced by Trump in the media.
“The bottom line is scrutiny has not been there,” he said.
“Joe Biden and Hunter Biden went to China in December of 2013, 10 days after that trip Hunter Biden gets a billion-dollar deal with the Chinese government, the media never covers it,” Schweizer said. “In 2014, he strikes a deal with the Ukrainians and it’s covered a little bit. But they don’t know the terms of it.
The parade goes on. We go from China to Ukraine and now to Romania, where this businessman in Romania, Mr. Popovich, is brought up on corruption charges and convicted in his own country, according to the Romanian media, he hired Hunter Biden to lobby on his behalf into the United States, in effect to get the United States government to call off the Ukrainians from their prosecution and eventual imprisonment of this businessman.”
It makes one wonder the timing of the whistleblower’s actions and the leak to the media regarding President Trump and his private conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker told Sean Hannity Friday night that the leaks on President Trump ‘were a clear example of someone from the Deep State’ targeting the president yet again.
Whitaker is right. Trump’s actions to call for an investigation, frankly, should be the same reaction Democrats and Republicans should have when it comes to Biden and son’s financial dealings in China, Ukraine and Romania.
In fact, Trump is doing exactly what the American people have asked him to do.
Just because Biden is running for office shouldn’t prohibit the truth from coming to light or the need for an investigation into his behavior and whether his son benefited from those connections. That’s a real investigation and one not based on bias.
What needs to stop is the use by Trump’s enemies of America’s media institutions to target a sitting and duly elected president.
