One thing that sickens me is the utilization by media of so-called “hip” or “alternative” celebrities – musicians, actors, artists, skaters, et al – who demonstrate none of the independent, critical thinking that was the bedrock of punk and 90s alternative culture. They are like moles. They clearly don’t want to lose their visibility and personal wealth or have, in their ignorance, fallen prey to the man=bad, woman=good paradigm that was utilized in this horrible electoral process. They refuse to read the Hillary-Podesta email leaks, as it is most likely interfering with their celebrity lifestyle. It’s appalling.
Actually, they know better than to buck the system. Look what’s happened to John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince – to name a few. That said, you’re right. Thanks for commenting – g
