Mohawk Trail

Join representatives of the subculture of observers for the autumn leaves and go on a journey through the towns of New England. The peak season is in September and October. When driving along this road, you can admire the natural tapestry of blood-red, gold and muffled orange leaves.

On the 100-kilometer-long Mohawk Trail, passing through the hills of Berkshire in western Massachusetts, you will meet the constant travelers’ pleasures: great food and stunning scenery. The road to Mount Greylock is difficult and dangerous, but panoramic views of the four states are worth climbing.

The Great River Road

As you know, the Mississippi River is the physical and psychological boundary between east and west. It’s considered to be the line of America’s greatest music: blues, jazz and rock’ n’ roll.

Highway 61 is a legendary route from Minneapolis to St. Louis and then to Memphis, forever associated with the name of the great Elvis.

Next you’ll reach the Mississippi Delta – the birthplace of the blues, and finally, New Orleans, which is a homeland of jazz. On this part of the route (1,930 km) you will learn the history of legendary and revolutionary music. Then overcome a 650-kilometers-long route to the capital of country music Nashville and your musical journey is completed.

The famous hilly landscapes of the Monument Valley are so recognizable, so loved by Hollywood and so tightly associated with the Wild West that you involuntarily seek out the figure of John Wayne on a horse.

The land of scarlet sandstone towers and tablelands will be a real discovery for you. You can also enjoy breathtaking views on the road, but for a close acquaintance with this wonder of nature, visit the Navajo Native Park by driving for extra 27 kilometers.

Yosemite National Park Route

There is so much beauty on the territory of Yosemite that even experienced travelers will be impressed. Highway 120, which stretches for 90 km across the park, is called Tioga Road. The road connects the Yosemite Valley in the west and Mono Lake in the east, and runs through the Tioga Pass at the altitude of 3,031 meters.

Most of the year – from October till May or even June, the road is closed due to snow, but if you still visit it, this journey will really delight you. You and your camera are offered amazing views of sapphire waters of the Tenaya Lake, peaks and wild flowers of Tuolumne Meadows – the best panoramas open from the Olmsted site.

US Route 2

This journey from coast to coast is highly valued by the fans of road adventures. US Route 2 stretches for 4,150 km across the northern states and partly across Canada from Washington to Maine. Get ready for stunning open spaces: from alpine splendor in the west to the Great Plains prairies and the Great Lakes water charm.

Cross the border to enjoy the French joys of Montreal, and then through the mountains and forests, reach the coast of New England.

California State Route 1

This is a real grandfather of the coastal routes and the travelers’ choice of the classic road to the Californian dream. The SR 1 road embraces the west coast of the United States from the border with Mexico to Washington State itself and never goes far from water.

Rent a party bus Riverside and start in the south, in San Diego, and point your car north through the Golden State. Spend your time in such a way to enjoy every natural and urban wonder, as well as ocean views around every turn. Sea elephants, secret beaches and the tallest trees on earth are waiting for you.

The Blue Ridge Parkway consists of 755 most rustic and mountainous roads, stretching across the south of the Appalachians and connecting two photogenic national parks: Shenandoah Park in Virginia and Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina.

In spring wild flowers bloom, and autumn colors are also beautiful, but beware of foggy days that can turn your trip into extreme driving. By the way, you won’t have to spend all your time at the wheel: dozens of interesting places await you in small towns.
