Super Bowl to get Super Racial

Super Bowl to get Super RacialJoe Kovacs – Outrage is erupting in the wake of the NFL’s announcement the so-called “black national anthem” will be featured at Super Bowl LVIII next month, in addition to America’s actual national anthem.

“Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be performed by Andra Day, the Grammy-winning R&B singer, and will be played alongside “The Star-Bangled Banner.”

The “black national anthem” was sung at last year’s big game by Sheryl Lee Ralph, while Mary Mary performed it in 2022 in the wake of the George Floyd protests and the Black Lives Matter movement of 2020.

“The NFL has announced that the so-called ‘Black National Anthem’ will be performed at the Super Bowl,” said Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA on X.

“Of course, in reality, the black national anthem is performed at every Super Bowl, because The Star-Spangled Banner is the anthem of ALL Americans. The effort to create a ‘black national anthem,’ and a ‘black Independence Day’ in Juneteenth, is part of a wider project to divide Americans up by race.

“Let’s get back to the days where Whitney Houston showed ALL Americans how to sing about and celebrate this country,” he concluded, attaching a clip of Houston singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” in 1991 at Super Bowl XXV.

Other online reaction includes:

“There is ONLY one national anthem for all people. Why don’t they sing the Latino national anthem? The Asian anthem also?”

“The NFL is evidently continuing to perpetuate antiwhiteism and division during this year’s Super Bowl. If that’s what you support then enjoy watching. I certainly won’t.”

“If you ever wonder why racial tensions are more extreme today, look no further than stunts like playing a black national anthem at the largest sporting event in America. What if a white national anthem was played?”

“The left is always lecturing us about race, and yet they’re the ones pushing for more segregation with different anthems and different holidays its like they want race relations to go backward. Part of it is to keep the races divided so they don’t unite against the left, because despite all of their projections its the democrat party that has a long history of systemic racism from owning slaves to creating the KKK, and making Jim Crow laws.

“All the white players should take a knee.”

At last year’s Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, Kari Lake, the former news anchor turned Republican firebrand, was seen sitting during the controversial playing of the black national anthem ahead of the game.
