Turkey’s Coup Plotters are Members of NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps

Alexandra Bruce – It’s been revealed that at least 3 of the 5 coupist regiments of the failed coup attempt in Turkey are part of NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps, according to a detailed report by Christiaan Triebert posted to the open-source, citizen journalist website bellingcat.com.

One of the groups of plotters used a WhatsApp group chat to coordinate its efforts, naming the chat group after the NATO corps’ slogan, “Peace at Home, Peace in the World”. All of this is now a matter of record and it’s been translated into English. In addition, the posts have been cross-referenced with photos posted to social media sites, confirming the exact Turkish Army brigades involved in this part of the failed operation.

The Turkish Coup in Context

Redrawing the Map of the CIA Drug Trade

It’s been four short days since the July 15, 2016 coup d’état (color revolution?) attempt in Turkey, and already, the open-source research community is well underway in digesting what’s just occurred. President Recep Erdogan was quick to place the blame at the feet of his long-time political opponent (and likely CIA asset), a multi-billionaire “refugee” hiding out in the woods of western Pennsylvania – cleric Fethullah Gülen. Gülen, in turn, pointed the finger back at Erdogan, suggesting that the coup was staged for the express intent of centralizing authority.

However, the Erdogan v. Gülen feud isn’t what this article is about; at least not directly. There’s a lot for the curious Reader to sink their teeth into there – from the ever-mysterious Gülen’s activities running the largest chain of Charter Schools in America (funded in part by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and currently under investigation by the FBI for money laundering) to Recep Erdogan’s love affair with NATO intelligence just a few years prior. Inquiring minds will quickly concede that this entire Turkish affair is (and has long been) a proverbial rat’s nest of Intelligencia and regime change.

Wherever the rats are scurrying, one’s likely to find some cheese close by – and the opium flows from Afghanistan bound for the Western world provide plenty of it. Buried among the headlines of the day was a story regarding Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base losing power during the attempted coup. When the lights came back on and the dust settled, Incirlik’s NATO-led “anti-Daesh” operations were given the continued green light, though the base’s Turkish commander remains in custody.

While many have been focused on the concerning amount of American nuclear warheads residing in Incirlik, its position as the drop-shipper of refined Afghan heroin bound for Western markets is equally pertinent. A politically uncertain climate in Turkey (to say the least) coupled with the general chaos of the region calls the future of NATO’s longstanding Incirlik drug-running operation into question – and that’s the finest wheel of Dutch Gouda the CIA’s had its mitts on since Iran-Contra.

Held Hostage at Incirlik

We had to do a double-take at the headline posted at Debka.com today, namely, “Erdogan locks US airmen, nuclear arms in Incirlik”. Keeping in mind that Debka, as with so many news services, may operate largely by the good graces of Israeli intelligence, it is nevertheless remarkable that even Debka feels a bit disillusioned at the apparent media blackout of this story. (See PDF version here if link is unavailable.)

Quote:

Some 1,500 US airmen and their families have been locked in the southern Turkish air base of Incirlik together with a stock of tactical nuclear bombs since President Reccep Erdogan crushed an attempted coup on Saturday, July 16. In the four days up until Wednesday, July 20, therefore, no air strikes against ISIS in Syria and Iraq have been staged that Turkish base.

This extraordinary situation, reported here by DEBKAfile’s military sources, whereby a large group of American military personnel are held virtual captive by an allied government, was almost certainly raised in the phone call that took place Tuesday between President Barack Obama and Erdogan.  But the most outlandish aspect of this affair is that no American official has raised it in public – nor even by the administrations most vocal critics at the Republican convention which nominated Donald Trump as presidential candidate.

The situation only rated a brief mention in some Russian publications under the heading: “Turkish investigators enter & search Incirlik air base where US nukes are housed.”

A few items are noteworthy here:

1. Debka claims that NO air strikes against ISIS have been sent from Incirlik. However, mainstream media has been assuring us all week that airstrikes were being carried out in spite of the power cut-off to the base.

News And Views From The Nefarium – July 21, 2016 [Video]

Joseph P Farrell – Speculations about the Turkish coup attempt are ongoing, amid a continued “shut down” of the USA’s Incirlik airbase in southern Turkey, a purge now extending into the thousands, and revelations that Russia may have warned Erdogan’s government of an impending coup:

Gillian Grannum – Here is my speculation concerning the interconnected weave of Turkey, Russia and Hillary Clinton’s emails. I posted it on Joseph’s YT channel. There are interesting comments at the video from others who added to my baseline theory. Those can be read here.

– BEGIN COMMENT –

Excellent commentary. In addition, per your acknowledgement that your 4 options may not be all inclusive, here are #5 and #6:

5-Russia, not the United States, is in the driver’s seat. Russia used its superb spy forces to uncover a USA plot against Erdogan that was being hatched by his former friend now enemy living in the US.
