The Origins of Spirit

The Origins of SpiritBrooks Agnew – I don’t want to get wrapped up in semantics. Many great arguments for something are lost to semanticists who parse words. Let’s get past that, okay?
Where did the concept of spirit come from?

Its source is Latin spīritus, whose original meaning was “breath, breathing” and hence “spirit, soul, courage, vigor”; its ultimate origin is a Proto-Indo-European root.

I would say this refers to the union of the soul address that is you, from eons of time, to your mortal body. Now, there are those who say the soul is the union of the spirit to the body, but what I see is that the soul is much larger than the body.

I have told you recently that the body rests in the soul, like a baby in a cradle. The soul is a specific address in the body of Source that is you, uniquely. When you were divided off of Source, it was done through a square root function, and so there was an exact copy of you at that millisecond, if such things actually exist in that dimension.

But from that instant, the two of you began to diverge. Separate is not equal. Two souls can be in the same place at the same time, but can have markedly different experiences. And different lessons are learned with difference experiences. The logic is that each soul address collected different experiences at different rates of change, and thus have each developed into unique self-aware intelligences.

The body is so much more than a biological transducer. Yes, the DNA expresses in gene pair choices that produce an almost infinite variety of proteins. Almost. Each planet has a range of proteins that can adapt to that planet. It’s why we have a great portion of our genetic code that is unexpressed. It’s because we happen to be on Earth. Earth is not the only inhabitable planet. It is one of the best, to be sure, but it is not the only one.

The soul seeks to be physical because we love it so much. Rightfully so. Source sent untold amounts of energy to the 3rd dimension, and only a fraction of it resonates into physical worlds. Without number, yes, but still rare. I mean look around. Earth is rare.

Why do we seek expression in the physical world of the 3rd dimension? Because we can love and create life in our own image. Because there is mystery, as the human biological transducer is limited in what it can detect and interpret. There is unknown, not like the spirit world where everything is known. The biological transducer also experiences pain and pleasure, although pain is not committed to memory.

Food, music, challenge, the concept of time and the principle of entropy are only real in this dimension. In short, physical life is heaven to a soul.

It is precisely why Lucifer cheated his ass off to get here and to figure out a way to get his demons here in the flesh. They come here in physical bodies, but they do not enter via the Well of Souls like we do. They come another way. I think this rule violation is why angels can come here. Or, maybe the visit of angels to Earth opened the doorway for demons to come here as well. I am not sure. I’m still thinking about this.

The first demon came here in the flesh through Eve. God, or Source as some of you wish to maintain, did not kill him when he murdered out of his raging envy of Abel. God let him live and he went to the land of Nod to take a wife, and more demons came to earth. Wars defeated them many times and spilled most of their DNA into the dead dirt. But latter-day technology has located the remnants of that DNA and gathered it together to breed it again, so those demons can return one more time in the flesh. They are here now. They love to kill, whereas we love to live.

The point is that the soul seeks a way to sense the physical world. It is an immense and ancient plasma being looking to hold a physical body in its field, so it can write experience to the address that is you. All experience is valuable at first. Many are called. Then we choose. Moments by moment we shape our plasma soul to become what we truly desire. We can be purely good, yes, but most of us are a mix of mischief and goodness. Some of us turn wicked, and we mistake pleasure for joy, and wealth for power.

I think you are somewhere in between. You don’t envy much, or you would not be here tonight. You don’t love too much, because of the pain. You feign hatred and constantly seek to control passion, but the body is limited in what it can see. It perceives time, but the soul address is timeless, so there is a conflict that we struggle with every living moment of our mortal lives. Mortality is but a few minutes long.

When we focus on moments instead of hours, we accumulate wealth beyond measure irrespective of money or privilege. In fact, monetary wealth greatly limits what a soul can experience in a mortal life. No private jet ride can compare with walking, or riding a horse, or standing in miles of lines to get through security and turning into an introvert for hours on end while you fly commercially. Wealthy people don’t experience scarcity, or hunger, or frustration and challenge like we do. I wouldn’t trade any of it for an easy way of it.

I have written more in the Akashic Record than most men have dreamed. I have created industries, not just jobs. I have written and sung and painted and constructed more in this life that any human could hope for. And it is not enough. In my next 60 years, I will do more, longer and better than I have ever done. I will love more, live more, sleep less, and see more than I ever have.

Will I overcome everything and become a pillar of heaven to go no more out? I hope not. I will stay as long as you do.
