Alec Christos Gabbitas – Keeping your faith when the road becomes drear is always a test for the heart and more so for the innermost soul. It is quite pleasing and ‘easy’ as all is free flowing and going our way, so to speak. The testing time arrives when the way becomes a little challenging and that which we thought was running so well now shows the reverse side of the equation and we are having to dig deep into our heart and soul to stay afloat and keep balanced.

These are the times when we have the opportunity to show our true grit and to realize our own fine potential as we face the discomfort ahead with a firm resolve and our heads held high. Yes, walking our talk and standing tall, to be counted.

Life has one real constant and that is surely that nothing stays the same, for the ‘winds of change’ create an ‘unrest’ and opportunities that shall encourage us to move with the times and to let go of the ‘old stuff’ that no longer serves our highest good. What was good or right for us yesteryear may not now be right today and the playing field, so to speak, might have moved and the ball game has changed as time rolls on, ever changing, ever challenging us in all that we do even from a day to day living.

What is happening across the world is truly also challenging as those dear ones in many middle eastern countries among other areas, are now standing in their own light and challenging the ‘old and obsolete regimes,’ that have kept them in bondage and tyranny for an age.

What is occurring across the world shows also what is happening within family units and groups, in a far more graphic manner. It is becoming very clear that many dear souls everywhere want a bigger slice of the proverbial pie, and are seeking now to be included to a greater share of life’s wealth with more equal opportunities.

These are the end times that were for so long predicted and it is the systematic breaking down of the old and irksome regimes that gave much to the select few but so very little to the greater populace everywhere. These are times which again were prophesied by the many prophets and seers, both old and new, and these are the times when we will show our true spirit and begin to reclaim our power, standing up to be counted. It can be done quietly yet as must needs with positivity and faith.

What we might now realize is the power and the beauty that we have and are. What we need to honor first and foremost, is our own good selves, and then treat all others with that self same love and tolerance that we have learned to bless ourselves with. Loving ourselves, and then will we find it far easier to ‘love thy neighbor.’

Nothing new is it! Familiar teaching, simply just, yet with a greater zest and a greater urgency, with a more poignant motivation to go with these winds of change.

Allow everyone their divine right to be counted, to be cared for, to become equal to and not separate from. These are the end times that all those old and sadly abused times were and still are! These are the end times of the 5% ruling the day with the 95% in poverty, pain or suffering.

These are the end times of all those ‘gloom and doom’ prophesies for there is only light and goodness that will save the day and pave the way for a brighter and lighter future, in the now. God’s Speed. Enjoy all forthcoming celebrations.
