What Is an Empath?

An empath can absorb the emotions and energy of others around them, which can lead to feelings of being overwhelmed, drained, and even sick. Empaths are often drawn to helping professions, such as counseling or teaching, as they have a deep need to support and care for others.

Different Types of Empaths

There are different types of empaths. Each type has its own way to identify an empath.

Empathizers are able to understand the emotions of others by feeling them themselves. They can also pick up on the physical and mental state of others. Empathizers are usually very compassionate and caring people.

Another type of empath is the one who is able to sense the thoughts of others. This type of empath is known as a clairsentient.

Clairsentients are able to understand the thoughts of others by sensing them. They are usually very intuitive and can often pick up on things that others may not be aware of.

The last type of empath is the one who is able to merge with the energy of others. This type of empath is known as a merging empath.

Merging empaths are able to understand the energy of others by becoming one with it. Merging empaths are usually very connected to the people around them and can often feel the energies of the people they are around.
