Go on a walk

Going on a walk can lower your blood pressure, and give you space to think in a calmer environment. Try meditation

Meditation is not as niche as it sounds. Essentially, it is specialized breathing practices designed to calm people down in tough times. The best thing about it is that you don’t need yoga alongside it to reap the benefits, even though this is also a great idea. One of the simplest exercises recommends that you lie down in bed, with one hand on your stomach and the other on your chest. Here, you should try to focus on the breath entering and leaving your body. Within just a few breaths, you will find that your mind starts to slow, and you are in tune to your emotions without feeling overwhelmed by them.

Have a warm bath

When you are stressed, your body can start to take on the tension you are holding inside. This can result in back pain and knots in your shoulders, and it means relaxing your physical self can sometimes force your mind into staying calm. Many choose to have massages to work through this tension, but this isn’t the most affordable option for some. However, you can have your fix at home by running a warm bath where you and your muscles can unwind.
