American Universities have been hollowed out by woke left-wing activists.
Most working-class Americans would be appalled if they saw what students were being taught on college campuses.
And this blatant racism being pushed in the name of woke extremism by this major law school will leave you sick.
Universities have become so over-the-top woke that it’s almost impossible to be surprised by the things administrators, professors, and students do.
But the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School is attempting to move the needle even further Left.
Students of the law school were forced to go through a reorientation seminar that consisted of woke critical race theory nonsense.
For example, the re-education pamphlet proclaimed that “there are no exceptional white people.”
The pamphlet also made the trite claim that nonwhites cannot be racist because racism is specifically “prejudice plus power.”
“Certainly, people of color can be and are prejudiced against white people,” the document read. “That was a part of their societal conditioning. A person of color can act on prejudices to insult or hurt a white person. But there is a difference between being hurt and being oppressed. People of color, as a social group, do not have the societal, institutional power to oppress white people as a group. An individual person of color abusing a white person – while clearly wrong, (no person should be insulted, hurt, etc.) is acting out a personal racial prejudice, not racism.”
Students are taking out six-figure loans to be taught this garbage.
The pamphlet also flatly rejected the notion of a colorblind society.
“By saying we are not different, that you don’t see the color, you are also saying you don’t see your whiteness,” the pamphlet read. “This denies the people of colors’ experience of racism and your experience of privilege.”
As a result of the disastrous reorientation seminar, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) is calling on the university to scrap the woke training.
“The student body is being subject to nonsense that ignores the rule of law and true equality in favor of a racialized way of seeing the world,” WILL President Rick Esenberg said. “The United State Supreme Court has stated clearly that justice is colorblind and race-based discrimination is against our human dignity. It is distressing to see our state’s only public law school requiring students to be ‘trained’ in a set of concepts which shreds the rejection of racial discrimination that so many fought so hard to make the law of the land.”
“We are asking the University of Wisconsin-Madison to take a serious look at the materials they just distributed to the student body and decide if this is accomplishing its core goals and mission,” he added. “To us, the answer is obvious.”
University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School is merely one data point in a sea of woke universities pushing radical and divisive nonsense.
