It’s a phrase that has been said over and over again for many, many decades. Who knows how long…
I would like us to make it special this year — to actually make it have some meaning. I don’t want it to just be words we say because the “clock hit 12” and we chime little bells because it’s “time”.
Many people do use this day to set goals for themselves, to make resolutions that hopefully will improve their lives. It doesn’t last, for most. The great intention is there, but there’s no “follow-through”.
And that’s where we fall short, right? We all have great ideas, great hopes, great dreams, fantastic goals…yet, how many of those become reality, and how many of those actually stick?
So, let’s make this year Spectacular, where we do a major break-through with our resolutions, our plans, our inspirations. Let’s put our spiritual and physical muscles to work, simultaneously, in order to bring whatever you desire to birth!
It’s a marriage of the idea, the right intention and the physical body.
An idea, in this realm, needs the physical body to carry out it’s blueprint — it’s design. The physical body needs the blueprint (the idea) to give it instructions of what task it’s supposed to perform to put together that design so that it exists in the physical realm.
Our body is the hardware, the idea is the software. They need one another to function and to carry out the purpose of their existence — in this plane.
We need to be a master of marrying these two, so that it works in unison, in order to bring your inspirations down from the abstract, into a physical level. Then you do need to upkeep that “Hardware” in order to make sure it’s sharp, working properly; and you do have to maintain the “Software” free of bugs — viruses like self-doubt-hacking, etc.
Keeping these two working together optimally takes maintenance — constant vigilance. Yes, that’s work!
So, let me bring out the obvious: maybe the reason our dreams, ideas, hopes, inspirations have not become reality or have been short-lived is because we didn’t realize there was a physical component to this, or we didn’t do the maintenance, which takes work…
Work. Yes, that’s a very unpleasant word.
Some of us are tired. We’ve given up. We’ve tried the work route before — not a job, but the spiritual kind. When we’ve seen no results, we stop. Why waste our time with this when it’s not working?
But, it does. The key is that the two things need to work together in unison!
When we set our mind and heart into a wonderful idea, and our intentions are good and we feel elated about it, our next step is to bring it into the physical so that it expresses here — not in the ether!
So, we have to mobilize ourselves to do whatever is necessary to bring it into form, in the realm of density. Once we do, we keep it in form by making sure we are vigilant of self-defeating ideas, jadedness, disappointment, stress, anxiety and DOUBT! We make sure the wheels that turn the mechanism that keeps it into physical form — our actions — are up to speed, so that the manifestation doesn’t vaporize into the ether once again.
With that said, I hope this new year brings you wonderful inspirations, projects and goals that you will take to heart and commit to achieving.
May these bring you eternal joy, peace and a feeling of great accomplishment. May you feel complete, and may you love yourself more than ever because you are worth loving, and because your life and passage through this planet is and has been significant to others.
